Ted Stickland is a viable, credible and doable candidate. We in Ohio DO NOT NEED to have a costly primary.

Brian Flannery is NOT Governor material.

Coleman has a lot of support in central Oh. I suppose he shouldn't run either.

Brian Flannery can not hold a candle to Strickland, Coleman.

The Dem Party leader in this state, Denny White, has NOT done the job. We are worse off for his lack of state wide leadership.

Money is the mother's milk of politics. The wise thing to do in getting Ohio back on course is to NOT have a costly primary.

I hold elected office, and I have worked on campaigns at the local, state and federal level for more than 35 years. Money should not be wasted in fighting each other, not at today's costs.

Look at what happened to Eric Fingerhut for the lack of Dem Party support and lack of money. What a tremendous, tremendous loss to the people of this state, to not have someone of his caliber fighting for each and everyone of us.

Do your home work NOW on the viability of candidates.

Ohio Democrats need to work smart for once.

7. Using your logic

of not "wasting" money on primaries, do you think Denny White should just pick the dem candidate for us?

We have primaries so that the people can chose a candidate for the party. Yes, it take resources, but it also allows us a chance to find the person who best supports our personal vision of the party.

I'm sorry that Fingerhut didn't win. I still have his bumpersticker on my car. But I'm not willing to give up on the primary process.

8. Fingerhut's run was a bad example

while I did vote for him, he simply wasn't good enough to beat Voinovich.

People don't switch horses without good reason, it is the same reason John Glenn won term after term with substantial support coming from people voting republican on other races on the same ballot.

While DeWine is very much beatable, beating Voinovich at the last election was a pipe dream for just about everyone in Ohio, except perhaps a John Glenn. IMHO.

way have been used by others time after time, in election after election and JUST IN CASE YOU HAVEN'T NOTICED...DEMS ARE LOSING!!!

Eric Fingerhut lost because he didn't have enough money. Period.

Jon Corzine, the NJ Senator (a Dem by the way) never held elected office prior to winning his Senate seat.

He bought his way into office, because he is a very rich person.

I would not let Denny White pick my nose, let alone a candidate.

A hard fought primary costs money, tons of it.

It is just my humble opinion that it is more important that we stick together and win......there are no moral victories.
