Washington- For the first time, Ohio Sen. George V. Voinovich yesterday backed a procedural bomb by Senate Republicans to blow away Democratic bids to block some of President Bush's judicial nominees.

The Ohio Republican told the Dispatch that - barring a good faith compromise - he is prepared to support changing Senate rules to stop Democrats from filibustering judicial nominees...

and sent him an e-mail. You're right. I don't think they really care. On top of that, I don't think Voinovich has the backbone to go against the thug party.
