Columbus protest report...........pititful.
A city of over 1 million people and the best we can muster is a few hundred? I remember people making the excuse of the weather on the January protest, are they using that again?

From the Dispatch.......

"The crowd was a bit larger and a lot louder on March 20, 2003, as the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq began.
But two years and thousands of lives later, the pacifists were still spirited during a march and rally at the Ohio Statehouse yesterday afternoon.
At most, 300 people converged on the Statehouse’s west steps to sing, dance, pray and chant on the second anniversary of the start of the war on Iraq.
Two-thirds of them either moved indoors or left halfway through the twohour rally, which was organized by the Central Ohio Peace Network"

Note: Sorry, I couldn't get my friends digital camera so I have no pictures. Anyone else have any?

ergo, one can only oppose this war on the grounds of being opposed to the concept of war itself.
