7. Ohio Forum Needs More Activism,.

IMHO.

Any ideas on what we can do to get more Buckeyes interested in posting on our Ohio forum? I notice we get more attention if a post is made on the general boards, i.e., Latest Breaking News or Latest Discussion Threads.

Maybe it's because state forums are new, but I think we need to get LOCAL and win Ohio.

And maybe it's just that I'm old and impatient.

Any ideas on this?

I think we need to identify all Ohioans and get them involved in the state forum every day. Volcano Jen has more gravitas than either of us "ancients". Perhaps we could get her to start a thread and make personal contacts.

Not sure that I hold any more "gravitas" than any other Ohio DUer, but I'm motivated, rested and ready to fight for my beloved Buckeye State!!!

Jen, as you've probably noticed, the Ohio state forum isn't as popular as the "regular" ones, i.e. General, Latest Breaking, etc. I've seen postings about Ohio on other threads that don't make it to our own forum.

Do you have any ideas about how we can motivate all the Buckeyes to check our forum every day and to join in?

If we're truly a battleground state, we have to fight some local battles to win the war.

Any ideas -- or is it way too early to expect more from this new forum?
