This weekend WUAB (Channel 43 - UPN) aired Stolen Honor, which criticizes John Kerry's role in Viet Nam. These Saturday and Sunday viewings were not listed in any TV guide.
The following appeared on the screen for one second immediately prior to the airing ... "The following is a paid program brought to you by NewsMax Media, Inc."
The words "You are watching 'Stolen Honor' the documentary on John Kerry" aired for 20 seconds, five times each, during each 23 minute broadcast.
So the words "documentary" aired for 100 seconds and the words "paid program" aired for 1 second during each broadcast.
Many viewers felt misled to believe it was a documentary and asked WUAB to stop the airings. This was denied. Then many viewers asked WUAB to include the words "paid political ad" throughout the airings. This was denied.
There is a strong likelihood that Stolen Honor will air again on Monday.
