Pain At The Pump: Ohioans Tell Their Stories
First Name City How much per gallon? How much does it cost to fill your tank?
How has this impacted you and your family?

Nina Columbus $4.39 $70.00
"I cannot afford to take my children to daycare and pick them up. I have had to ask my parents for their assistance so the kids can stay in the same school.
Also I feel I cannot look for work anywhere close to me by car, but have to commute into the city on public transportation. This will prevent me from driving my children to school anytime in the foreseeable future, as I will not be able to get out of work in time to go home, pick up the car and drive them."

Debbie West Chester $4.39 $52.00
Well, at least we don't have to make the decision between filling up the tank or food or the mortgage. But that doesn't mean we haven't been impacted. We have a daughter in college, and with that expense and the cost at the pump and home heating, well sir there is not a lot of discretionary money left. And no sir, I don't think you really understand. You must really be joking (or oblivious) to expect us to fall for a "summer holiday" from gas taxes. Eighteen cents? Are you kidding? That was just a "bait and switch" to get us to think you were actually going to do something. I hate to break it to you, but Barack Obama was the only one who "got it". He didn't jump on that bandwagon (even Mrs. Clinton did, I was surprised about that). While I respect you as a person, I really don't think you have the "right stuff" to be our president!

Jeannine Cleveland $4.00 $60.00
This is taking a terrible toll because instead of buying groceries or paying a bill I have to put it in the gas tank. Now they are saying that the cost of gas and electricity is going up. I can no longer pay my bills on time. My credit rating is suffering. We need HELP not WAR!
