One article about OH-2
- excerpted - those turnout numbers are helpful! This is an eight-county district (parts of some of the counties are split to other House districts.) Vic ran against a very-recently-"converted" R, Steve Black, who ran a smeary campaign.
==================
Victoria Wulsin proved she is tough enough to win. She will put the 2nd Congressional seat into Democratic Hands. She is tested and ready to win.

Vic won by large margins across all counties, including a huge 65-25 in Hamilton. Her opponent threw everything, and a double kitchen sink, at her and the voters rejected the negative attacks - sending a clear message to Jean Schmidt that those tactics won't work in the general.

Vic's margin was 26,855, more than double Schmidt's margin of 12,700. Dem turnout was 94,946 - almost triple the previous high in the district. That's 33% more votes cast than the Republicans' 71,139.

If you have been sitting on the fence waiting to see how the primary would play out, hop off now, help put the second district seat into Democratic hands. Get out your checkbook, call your friends, no matter where they live, and invite them to join you in the effort.
