Poll question: Which candidate would you most like to have a chat with?
What questions would you ask, or what kind of issue(s)would you want to discuss. Might you volunteer on their campaign?

1. Ohio is not in a very talkative mood these days, is it?
Don't we have a primary coming up real quick-like?

2. There's a candidate I would like to grab and shake vigorously
Am I close?

3. probably, but I'm not sure
but wasn't meaning to be negative here; just trying to get some dialogue going on. After California and Texas, I think Ohio has the most DU posts, so I'm just wondering why noone's talking these days....

4. Well it would be Dennis Kucinich then
Because his staff is doing "not so good" with constituent contact. :(

5. maybe it has to do with his brother then because constituent service is known to be his strong suit

I'm not even in his district and have received calls back from him personally.

As I'm sure you're familiar, it's also a hectic time of year for legislators. I would try again, or call the new Senator, who also is responsive. Depending on the issue, I would also check committee assignments and check with the lawmakers who are assigned oversight.

Good luck, and a happy new year.

6. I have a long standing grumpiness
I would rather talk about skiing or squirrels or juncos. This morning was really pretty with the heavy frost after the clear night. I woke up in the middle of the night and saw the coolest moonshadow through the trees on the neighbor's frosty lawn. Good morning.

7. you give me an idea....
to get out of the city and go to the cabin tonight.... Lots of nature, new woodburning stove, plenty of food stocked, kids are down, don't have to work. The deer will come back to the riverside to drink....
