My yard sign was vandalized and moved

I just put it up yesterday. I chose a well lit, visible area toward the rear of my front yard. I just found the sign in the curbstrip with black spray paint on both sides. Apparently mine was the only one reported to have been vandalized last night.

I just went to the office and got a flock of dem candidate signs to put out along with a new Kerry sign. I'll be bringing them in at night until the election is over.

I have had it up for several weeks - was feeling quite good about it not being tampered with - then just this afternoon it disappeared. They really are getting desperate. BTW, I have another one to put out tomorrow morning!

In my neighborhood, which is not a Democratic stronghold by any means, there are far more Kerry signs than Bush. Thus, anyone who wants to steal them has their work cut out.

11. Yard Signs stolen in Champaign County

I had 3 yard signs stolen last night. I live in a very Republican county, but had never had this problem before. I had a Kerry/Edwards sign, a Fingerhut sign, and a sign for a local candidate for county commissioner. I have replaced the Kerry and local candidate signs, but haven't replaced the Fingerhut sign yet. Word also has it that the local cc candidate had a sign BURNED in someone's yard over the weekend. While I'm really shocked and angry about this, I have to smile because I think we're really getting to them.

Yea we have registered a lot of new voters-it's obvious that it's worrying them - just look at what Blackwell's been trying to do, and I bet he's not done looking for ways to stop people from voting. The sad part about all his tricks is, we all know that it's just his way of getting his name known around the country, since he's got a much bigger personal agenda. Everything he's doing now is being so closely watched, I don't think he'll be able to get away with anything! Kerry On!!
