Blackwell gets the coveted 'septic tank' endorsement
Of the Warren Tribune-Chronicle

http://www.tribune-chronicle.com/Editorials/articles.asp?articleID=10234

“Republican candidate for governor J. Kenneth Blackwell has plans to solve both problems. Most of his ideas are sound. We disagree with some. But all of them are concrete and specific.

His opponent in the Nov. 7 General Election, U.S. Rep. Ted Strickland, D-Lisbon, says he has plans, too, but he is withholding specifics until after the election. That vagueness coupled with Strickland’s apparent contempt for Trumbull County and failures in his own Congressional district that runs from Boardman to Marietta and includes Lisbon, East Liverpool and Steubenville, makes it difficult to support his candidacy.”

***
Blackwell’s strong opposition to government regulation is perhaps one of the most important issues facing Trumbull County. The Ohio EPA is unfairly devastating tens of thousands of homeowners with ridiculously strict septic regulations, causing many local residents to abandon their lifelong dreams.”
***”

Perhaps the Ohio EPA should take some samples of the toxic sludge on the Tribune-Chronicle's editorial pages.

2. The Ohio EPA is a Joke
and a wholly owned subsidiary of the electric utility and coal industries.

Where the fuck was the Ohio EPA when AEP poisoned Chesire, Oh for more than a year with clouds of sulfuric acid?

Why the hell do so many people in SE Ohio have to truck water in to their rural properties, yet there is little to no effort to clean up the sources of ground water contaimination?

But yeah, build a house now and you need an over-engineered and electrically operated septic system. Geesh.

Blackwell's economic ideas are not only speculative and risky, some are pastiches of proven failures in other states (such as his TEL, for instance). Anyone who thinks he's going to the Gub'nuh's mansion for the sole purpose of bringing jobs to Ohio has to be smoking labs full of meth. BootBlackwell would be nothing more than the GOP/Religious Wrong's Ohio citadel of dogma and hatred in Columbus.

It is ironic that many voters will turn on Blackwell because of his apparent connection to Republican Gov. Bob Taft, who is leaving office with a dismal record. No, idiot, people are turning on him because he's a homophobic, smearing, over-partisan, over-religious and Bewsh-admin facilitating bastard! There's more than substantial proof that he oversaw (and continues to oversee) voter disenfranchisement and election chicanery across this state in 2004.

"Vague" . . . yeah, that's what the Shitcinnati Perspirer said about Strickland too. Ted and Lee's plans are detailed right here in black and white. We didn't make you Repuke editors too stupid to do your own research. That's genetic's fault.

Endorse Crackwell all you want, Warren and Cincy. The closest that guy's coming to the State House is on a Sunday drive to it.

5. Taste a hint of clorine in your city water?
Maybe more than a hint. Well that's what it is. It's added on purpose to kill cholera. Cholera comes from having water contaminated with shit. That means there are so goddamn many of us in one place that the only way to survive is to drink our own chemical-treated sewerage.

So just how far from Soylent Green are we?
