Candidates and helpers, BEWARE: stay vigilant of your absentee voters
You need to ARRANGE TO HAVE DAILY Absentee Voter LABELS PRINTED AND go pick up your lists from your local Board of Elections DAILY by 4:30. Mail your literature DAILY.

An unprecedented number of voters will be voting absentee this election. Neither you nor your candidate can afford to save the bulk of your resources till the last minute this time. You've got to pound your positive message consistently between now and election (follow Sherrod Brown's example).

You're going to get very tired; start recruiting reinforcements now, and tell people nuts and bolts why you need them, exactly what you need them to do, e.g. deliver 20 pieces of literature to neighbors, knock on ten doors, host a tea.

Precinct committee people, you need to step up to the plate; you are not in a seat of honor; you are in a seat to work and provide leadership by example. If you are too old to walk, train a surrogate and start mentoring them for the future.

When you approach your potential voters one on one, engage them; don't preach. Explain simply why you think your candidate is the best. Personalize your message to fit the candidate's priorities.
