The Ohio gubrenatorial debate is on TV now
NBC ch 21 Y'Town.

In his opening statement, Blackwell pointed out that Strickland has held a seat in congress for the last 12 years and Ohio has seen decline.

He said that a vote for himself would be a vote for change in Ohio, ignoring the fact that he, Taft, and other Republicans have been in the governor's mansion all along.

Blackwell doesn't have a very good style of speaking, he seems uncomfortable and awkward as he spouts form repub talking points.
It's apparent that he's spent his career as a Republican appointee.

I think we're gonna see a change in Ohio all right.

1. He's probably using that tact 'cause he's in Strickland's stomping grounds
and wants to go for the jugular. Sounds a little desperate, perhaps?

Any info on re-broadcast?

2. Did you record it?
Or will it be somewhere we can stream/download it later?

I'm sure there will be many foot-in-mouth and/or deranged moments for the SoS,
perhaps even some worthy of national ire at YouTube!
:evilgrin:

6. I tend to look at Rasmussenreports...they lean Repub so if he leads there
then he is in good shape. Granted these numbers are almost a month old I still don't see Kenny getting anywhere NEAR Strickland!

<snip>

During the past several months, Democratic Congressman Ted Strickland's edge over Republican Secretary of State Ken Blackwell has ranged from four to seventeen percentage points. Now, in our latest election poll of Ohio's gubernatorial race, Congressman Strickland leads his opponent by an intimidating 57% to 32%.
