Like AngryOldDem said in the Studebaker thread, we've got two years to find and fund the candidate that can whoop Turner.

Give Hack the money, and I think he'll do it.

Came across this in GD.

I still say that scrambling to find someone now to run in November is not exactly the best use of resources. I think we should find someone for 2008 who will be on Turner like stink on shit from now until that election. Hammer Mike at every turn, make him account for all of his votes, make him account for his lockstep, brown-nosing of Bush, and show people that there IS a viable alternative. Two years, when you look at it this way, can be a long time to do a lot of good work.

4. Chet Edwards
Should sned Hackett a ham or something because after that ass-whopping he put on Van Taylor, Taylor's political aspirations are dead.

8. Hackett
Hackett has magic, he could stand there and just smile and laugh to beat the hell out of most up coming repos. Give him time and some space and he will be there when the country needs him.
My dream is seeing Paul Hackett in the Senate so we need to keep him on TV and Radio as often as we can so the public gets to know him.
If we're lucky, Vonabitch will be connected to Ney and Noe and he'll cry on TV and his seat will be easy to retake. People that know Vonabitch know that he can't cut the Job and that he got more Demo votes then he should have because of the Cleveland Area.

7. That could help him
the general public doesn't like to see involuntary recalls, especially since it shows the dumbassedness of the administration and how Iraq has hurt military recruiting. If he serves another term of duty, what more would Hak have to do to prove he will sacrifice himself for the country?

9. Taylor said that he was a "vet" of Iraq, also ... so why didn't anybody
question what he did? I mean, when Hackett was running, Republicans tried to paint him as being in an office in a cushy sector far from any danger ... so what did Taylor do?
