I just voted! Yay!

Early/one-stop registration and voting have begun! it's all this week 9am-5pm here in Orange County.
It was easy (long ballot, though) and NO lines! I think most counties will have Saturday hours on May 3rd too.
Check with the SBOE in your county. Now I'm done and I can sit back and relax.:D

I'm going on Wedsnesday morning. Were you able to get in & out with ease? I'm taking a half day, but I wanted to get some other things done, but I'm hoping I can get in & out fairly quickly.

2. Yep. Maybe 15 minutes at the most. Get one of the Dem voter guides on the

way in if you can. There were some races I didn't know jack shit about, but managed to
figure it out from the info they provided. Your county Dems usually have a table on the
way into the polls where you can get one. VERY helpful.

There was no line at all. You just give them your name and address, sign a form to verify it.
Then they give you a ballot and depending on how much hemming and hawing you do over
things like "county commisioner" and "insurance commisioner" and stuff like that...pretty quick.

Ballots are DOUBLE-sided, don't forget the back. :hi:

3. I received a mailing from the Guilford Cty PAC, and they already had

their recommendations marked. I did some investigation online, (because 2 of them were Repukes), and I was unable to get a lot of info on this PAC. But it was a good guide to make me do some research. I can't wait......

4. Good for you! I just read the flyer the Orange County folks gave me.

It was helpful and most of the races that were important to me I knew what I was voting.
I just didn't want to vote for some a'hole by mistake. ;)
