International Spies coming to Raleigh this week
The Third Annual http://www.raleighspyconference.com/home">Raleigh International Spy Conference will be at the Museum of History this week, Wed 8/31 - Fri 9/2.

When I first read about it, the first thing that flashed into my mind was Sibel Edmonds and the other intelligence whistleblowers, and wondering whether it would be worth dropping some flyers there or listening for juicy bits of information. But the conference theme is "Old Spies, New Threats", with a lot of speakers about the Cold War and the KGB and Chinese espionage. Googling the speakers doesn't come up with anything promising. Unfortunately, they mostly sound like they'd be on the side that wants Sibel to keep quiet. I'm not quite sure what to make of this whole thing.

Anybody know anything more about it? Would there be any point in doing something with, at, or around this conference? Maybe putting out some flyers for the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Security_Whistleblowers_Coalition">National Security Whistleblowers Coalition?
