Two storys telling an all too often heard tale...
First:
Lord Corp. to add 117 jobs at Cary HQ (over 5 years)

Lord Corp. plans to expand its Cary headquarters and add 117 jobs during the next five years.

Second:
Cisco could cut up to 10,000 jobs

Networking giant Cisco Systems, one of the Triangle's largest technology employers, is looking at cutting as many as 10,000 jobs worldwide, Bloomberg News reported this morning.

Cisco employed about 4,900 workers and contractors in Research Triangle Park as of May 27. A 14 percent cut would amount to nearly 690 workers.

1. I used to want to work at Cisco
but not anymore. They've become as bad as IBM.
