Restaurant recommendations for Bath, NC?

I decided to take a little road trip from Raleigh tomorrow and was wondering if anyone could recommend good places to eat in or near historic Bath. Seafood is a plus, although I might have to go to Blackbeard's Slices and Ices just for the name...

1. Looks like Washington

is the place to eat and such, rather than Bath. Washington is closer than Greenville or New Bern. I couldn't find anything listed in Bath proper. Though that could be misleading.

2. Thanks for that!

I've put very little thought into this -- just want to hit the road for the day to be around water. Will probably do early lunch and dinner at two of those, with historic Bath and Goose Creek State Park in between.

We first stopped in Washington (Cecil B. DeMille grew up there...who knew?) for lunch and to check out the little Main Street. Had a crab cake sandwich at the Meeting Place Cafe which was mediocre (I grew up in Maryland so my crab cake standards are pretty high). There's a "world cuisine" restaurant on Main Street -- I forget the name -- but the dinner menu looked pretty good. Historic Bath was wonderful! I needed a history/water fix, and this certainly took care of it. Even had a pirate (Blackbeard) fix. On the way home we popped in to Goose Creek State Park and walked (only about 2 miles since it was getting dark). Will definitely go back to the park to walk all of the trails...it was SO quiet and peaceful.

I'd highly recommend this little outing as a day trip or overnighter...

but I was going to recommend Blackbeard's. I thought it was great.

Down on Main St. is the place to go in Little Washington.
