John Hall, NY CD#19 on Karl Rove's 2008 Hit List
This week, we learned some disturbing news: At a political briefing that took place at the General Service Administration this past January, Scott Jennings - Karl Rove's deputy at the White House - delivered a Power Point presentation that was undeniably political in nature and probably a violation of the Hatch Act. This presentation included a slide of "2008 House Targets: Top 20" and I am on that list!

I guess I got their attention. The National Republican Congressional Committee is already looking forward to 2008 and wants desperately to win this seat back. Simply stated, we must be ready. I know it seems early to ask, but an early showing of our financial strength will be one of the best ways to discourage opposition.

March 31 -- only one day away -- marks the deadline for the first Federal Election Commission filing, a critical benchmark for freshman representatives. A contribution today of $100, $250, $500 or any other amount will send the message to the National Republican Party that we have no intentions of giving up New York's 19th District.

If you have already contributed early, many thanks. If you haven't and can do so now, please help us continue the progress we are making by contributing as generously as you can. You can do so online at www.johnhallforcongress.com or send a contribution postmarked by March 31st by using the form provided on the website.

Thank you for your continued support.

Sincerely,

Congressman John Hall
