What are the vulnerable State Senate districts?
My wife and I are looking for NYS candidates to support. What are the mostly likely State Senate seats ripe for a Democratic pickup?

1. 35th: Andrea Stewart-Cousins v. Nicholas Spano
Lower Westchester and part of Bronx.

Republican Spano won by a hair last time ( recount, impounded machines, friendly judiciary, etc. etc., you know the drill.).

Stewart-Cousins should win outright this time.

4. Working Families Ditched Him...
...I cancelled my monthly donation to WFP because of this race. He won by only a few dozen votes, and got thousands on the WFP line. They must have had a similar reaction from many supporters, because this time they're fielding their own candidate and endorsing neither Spano nor Stewart-Cousins.

2. Valesky (D-49th) might need help
His seat was a pickup last time, and they're really targeting him now:

3. Any Republican state sens or reps in Astoria?
Pataki is refusing to declare it a disaster area. And those are VERY angry constituents.
