6. 2 weeks ago I was going east on the 10 and i saw 25 cop cars and some
special bomb unit trucks going the other way on the freeway, then several more special units - I thought, wow, can't wait to get home to see the news to see what is going on. NOTHING. Not a thing. You probably will never find out what is going on with the helicopters

8. Hi to 24th street! I stayed at McBurney Y for awhile
on 23rd.

How is the old neighborhood today?
is the needle trades retirement complex still at the end of the street? Still have a the Y across from the Chelsea Hotel, the hotel where Dylan Thomas stayed and drank and drank and drank?

How is crime there nowadays?

BTW, copters might be the Army practicing urban assaults.. they do in some towns i saw on a tv news item. Right in the middle of a city.

Or they might be chasing suspects from across town, like they do in L Angeles on tv all the time.
