Weedy yard lands woman in jail
LAS CRUCES - Handcuffed, led out of court in tears and placed in the back of a jail transport van to be processed into the Do-a Ana County Detention Center - that was the last thing disabled veteran Deborah Klohr expected when she went to court to pay a speeding ticket in March.

While it would have surprised her to go to jail for speeding, it was even more shocking why she was really wanted by the law: Weeds.
