will be playing at Low Spirits on 2nd St. NW on his 67th birthday. Backed by 2 local bands (different sets, then some jamming together), The Woodpeckers (mainly a bunch of lawyers, all Democrats BTW, including State Supreme Court Justice Charles Daniels on bass) and a great R&B band called Soul Kitchen. Was gonna wait till shortly before this event to post, but I hear tickets are now on sale and being a pretty small place, I assume it will sell out. Cheap ticket prices too; 15 or 20 bucks to see the man that played Brown Sugar, Can't You Hear Me Knockin' etc. in a bar in Albuquerque...
