I've been following several polls and a few of those "election prediction" sites and they all had the race as a dead heat or Menendez behind by a couple of points. It never occurred to me to check the BBC for info.

On edit: I checked the link you posted and in that thread, there's a link to a poll that has Menendez as much as 11 points ahead! :woohoo:
