Irregularities in the Medfords
Edited on Sat Jan-15-05 02:23 PM by Lenape85
http://www.state.nj.us/lps/elections/2004_municipality_results_congressional.html (look at District 3 in Burlington Co.)

According to this, Jim Saxton (Repuke) alone got 9,182 votes in Medford Lakes. The problem is, according to the 2000 census, there were only 4,173 people in the town. Does this look like a town that could have 9,000 people.

Furthermore, Medford (population 22,253) had a voter turnout of only 1,739 for Saxton, 616 for Conaway, 33 for Forchion, and 7 for Orland. There must have been some really low voter turnout there

1. The data could be transposed between the two.
You are right, it does not make sense the way it is listed. I looked up some real estate sites and everything agrees with the population figures you listed.
