"Lynch asks AG to investigate fraudulent use of his signature"
CONCORD, N.H. -- Democrat John Lynch asked state and federal authorities Wednesday to investigate a mailing to independent voters that forges his signature to "exaggerate and lie" about his position on key issues.

The one-page letter dated Aug. 30 urges the voters to sign up for "Independents for Lynch" at his Web site. The campaign said no such group exists.

"When I think about these types of dirty tricks, I do not think of New Hampshire," said Kate Hanna, the campaign's treasurer. "But unfortunately, as we have recently seen with the phone-jamming case, there are people willing to go to any lengths to manipulate elections."

1. The GOP motto:
Win if you can, loose if you must, but always, always, cheat!
