Bush trip moved to Wednesday (Manchester)

MANCHESTER, N.H. --President Bush has rescheduled his trip to New Hampshire this week so he can attend the funeral of Coretta Scott King.

Mrs. King's funeral is Tuesday in Atlanta, the day the president had been expected in New Hampshire. Instead, he will visit the state on Wednesday.

In New Hampshire, the president is expected to continue promoting themes from his State of the Union address and to honor a Manchester woman for her volunteer work.

I hope my neighbors to the west are planning an appropriate "welcome" for the BoyKing. A large protest of some sort?

There will be folks gathering at Veteran's Park, accross the street from the Radisson, on Elm St. in Manchester. NH Peace Action, SEIU, AFSCME, and the NH Citizens Alliance will all be there. Also, a group called Americans United will be running an ad on WMUR about a need to change the culture of corruption in DC on the same day.
