Behold, the Future of Voting(TM) comes to Parklane Mall...
Stood an hour in line today to vote early (they only had a dozen or so booths), spent 10 minutes going through my votes and double, triple, quadruple-checking them, and noticed that 2 of the Gee-Whiz-Ain't-That-Neat voting machines already turned off and witnessed 2 more CRASH WHILE PEOPLE WERE TRYING TO VOTE ON THEM.

Bring back our optical-scan paper ballots, God damn it!

1. This is worth posting in General Discussion...
..there's a bunch of us over there monitoring this stuff,

Add BBV (for Black Box Voting) to the front of the subject line so people will see it easier.

Thanks for reporting your experience!

5. We don't use Diebold
The state of Nevada uses Sequoia Systems for voting machines. I think that Diebold runs on windows, but Sequoia does not. I could be wrong.

4. No, it's touted for the voter-verified paper-trail.
Different company, same bullshit.
