Two races may be close calls for GOP

WORLD-HERALD STAFF WRITER

ASHLAND, Neb. - For the first time in this election, all six Republican candidates for governor and U.S. Senate shared a stage Monday during an annual gathering in Cass County.

And, if the opinions of several of the Republicans in the audience of 120 are any indication, both GOP races are wide open.

1. why anyone would bother opposing Dr. Tom
is anyone's guess. Anyone doing that should concentrate on the third district election or opposing Nelson in the senate race.
