Frank Morrison Dies
HELENA - Frank Morrison Jr., a former Montana Supreme Court justice who twice ran for governor, died Sunday in Seattle, three days after collapsing in the Seattle-Tacoma airport.

Political roots run deep in Morrison's family, spanning three generations. His father, Frank Morrison Sr., served as governor of Nebraska from 1961-1972; his mother Maxine ran for Congress in Nebraska in 1968; his son, John, also an attorney, has been Montana's state auditor since 2001 and is running this year for the Democratic nomination to challenge U.S. Sen. Conrad Burns, R-Mont.

1. Condolences to his family.
Let's take Burns out of the Senate as a tribute to Morrison's years of service.
