1. Hey! Let's protest socialism by defacing private property!

I drove by there today and it blew my mind. What a bunch of fucking idiots.

To be fair, however, the vandalism is more intellectually engaging than about 80% of the anti-Obama letters to the editor the KC Star prints.

5. Somehow I am more offended by the hammer and sickle symbol

than seeing "USSR" splattered across the big Obama signs. Those are eight-foot signs, BTW.

I think the reason the symbol offends me more is because I see it as showing a slightly higher degree of hatred. I mean, many people know what the letters USSR used to stand for. Or they have a general idea even if they don't know much else. But not that many people know about the hammer and sickle and what it indicates.

I am definitely not explaining this very well.

Or at least the communist, socialist, and terrorist labels. Barack has been called all three of those at different times or at the same time by Republicans and their operatives.

Anyone who can be a communist socialist terrorist while still remaining as a Muslim community organizer must have talent.

8. The small Obama yard signs -- the ones that are not defaced --

are yard signs that were given to the various homeowners AFTER the spraypainting occurred and the Obama campaign in KC learned about it.
