It looks like the piggies are going to use affirmative action as a wedge
issue for 2008. It worked so well with gay marriage they're going to try this to divide the base, the champion of the right ward conally will be campaigning here actively to get affirmative action thrown out.
So, more division, instead of putting forth any kind of positive agenda, that's all these assholes know.

3. There was a report on KMBC last night
The reporter looked like he could barely keep from rolling his eyes in disgust, he had to interview connally who was giving his spiel about affirmative action working against minority contractors.
The gist is though, they're going to try putting a constitutional ammendment on the 08 ballot prohibiting AA.

2. They can do a way with affirmative action the first time I see
a cab driver drive off without picking up a white person flagging him down, otherwise they better get the message that there is still discrimination.....I'm not sure why they picked this wedge, I've seen it coming for a while now... but with Obama in the race, I'm sure he won't be quiet about bigotry and discrimination...I'm betting he'll be hitting them hard on it...
