Kansas City news sources?

Anybody have good suggestions for news sources for coverage of local and state issues for Kansas City? Between the Star and the Pitch, one can get a decent idea of what's going on, but I was wondering if there are any other sources for such news.

I've seen BlogKC, which looks pretty good. Any other high points in the KC blogosphere?

Also, what's the recommended TV local news broadcast. I know that they'll all adopt a "if it bleeds it leads" mentality, but is one any better than the others?

blogkc is good, but updates are more frequent on tonyskansascity.com and http://buzzblog.kcstar.com/ is the political news from the kc star.

Tony keeps an eye on lots of sources and will lead you to other blogs that interest you.

local TV is all the same to me: killings, fires, video, "human interest"
