Gather 1:30-2pm at Courthouse Square. Rally starts at 2pm sharp.
March at 2:30pm, Tree dedication at Douglass Park 3:15,
Optional Potluck Picnic Follows.
Rain site: Gather Commission Chambers, Boon Co. Gov't Center.

Sunday, March 18th 2007 12:00 Noon
The Vigil will include a display of over 3000 tombstones with the names of U.S. military and Iraqi
civilians, flags, a coffin draped in an Iraqi and US. Flag and a 10 foot replica of a $100 billion
dollar bill with a 5 foot prohibitive sign over it. Vigilers will place flowers on the prohibitive
sign, make a wreath symbolizing our oppostion to funding for the war. The vigil will end with a
Occupation Project direct action at noon on Monday - March on Senator McCaskills office.

Every Sunday
This vigil is an ongoing place for opponents of the war on Iraq to make their opposition visible.
There is a time of silence, an open mike for sharing perspectives and readings, music, and
announcements of upcoming events. Some vigilers hold large colorful banners, others hold candles
and signs, while others leaflet cars stopped in traffic as people drive to Fox, Black Rep, Powell,
and Sheldon performances. People of all faiths and persuasions are welcome.
