KC PRIDE Democratic Club to host panel discussion on faith and politics

KC PRIDE Democratic Club (www.kcpridedemocrats.com), a grassroots, progressive organization for GLBT persons and straight allies in the Kansas City area, will host a panel discussion at 7 p.m., Thursday, May 12, in the Rockhurst University Community Center at the corner of Troost and 54th Street. The Center is located at 5401 Troost and parking is available in the lot next to the building.

The panel discussion, titled "How Would Jesus Vote? - The Intersection of Politics and Faith," will feature representatives of various faiths and denominations sharing their thoughts on the place of religion in politics (and politic's place in religion).

Please plan on joining us for the discussion and question-and-answer
session ... and bring a friend. The event is free and refreshments will be provided.
