1. Talent is a St. Louis suburbanite slug.
He stirs no passion. Mediocrity, anonymous. Overall he is a poor reflection of rural Missouri who elected him.

You need someone who can talk to rural Missouri and appeal to Urban voters.

2. What to do about "No Talent" Talent
A no lose proposition would be to Rev. John Danforth to run against Talent in the primary. If "No Talent" Talent loses to Danforth, the Senate moves mores safely to the left, regardless of who wins the General Election

3. He voted for the Bankruptcy bill
and against some amendments the Democrats proposed - like protecting deployed soldiers who file bankruptcy

5. Social Security?
I don't know, but my hunch is that social security "reform" is something that most of MO will be strongly against. Also we need to make lots of noise about Baby Blunt's medicaid cuts.

6. I can attest there is a lot of noise now about Medicaid.
Problem is they get a free ride in the press. Republican Jefferson City is getting hit hard. Some old timers are really regretting their votes.
