Mississippi Democrats, CHECK IN!!!
Have you voted yet? How was it at your precinct? I went in and voted quickly.

In the small town that's our county seat, one of the other ladies on our democratic exec. committee said that she was voter number 50 at 7AM. She said fifty people were waiting in line when she arrived at 6:30, and that the line extended far outside the courthouse.

How's it going in your area? Any challengers or poll watchers?

1. Hi from Wiggins!
No lines, not a great deal of interest seemingly. Easy in & out. I believe there were "observers" at the polling places; didn't know if Democrats or Repukes, since I'm not a native. The weather has been miserable, though; heavy rains off & on all day.

2. Hi from JXN
voted at 7 am in a tiny polling place. One registrar and 3 machines. Smooth as silk. Went by a little while ago and the place looked packed.
Wore my black hoodie and got a knowing nod from a lady in line.

3. St. Phillips on Old Canton in Jackson
Long line at 8:30 a.m., but no problem while I was there.

4. I go to MSU in starkville (College Democrat)
I figure Oktibbeha Country is a purple county, but there are a ton of blue enclaves further west towards the Mississippi River.
