Collin Peterson Voted Aye on the faith based job training bill UGH
4 Dems voted Aye and I get the pride and pleasure of Peterson being one of them...

grrrrr.... I left my scathing message from a non-christian constituent for him already this morning. Please feel free to yank this jerks chain today. I can't believe I voted for this man.

For info on this bill:

1. I was blocked from sending an email. Wrong zipcode
I'm in McCollum's district. Guess being from MN doesn't give me any special privileges. Funny. Barbara Boxer and John Conyers accept email from just any old body.

I knew Peterson was a conservative Democrat. Have you tracked his voting history? http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2004/ROLL_000.asp

Maybe the Dems in your district and the DFL should find a better candidate the next go-round!!

2. Seantor Harry Reid cares what you think
no matter where you live. He just sent me the following:
Dear Friend,
Senate Democrats are asking people to sign their Pledge to Protect Social Security. This simple pledge lays out the reasons why George Bush's privatization plan is not the answer:

• It would cut Social Security’s funding and weaken the program.

• It would cut benefits by one-third or more, even for those who choose not to risk their money in a privatized account.

• It would require even deeper benefit cuts for those who do choose a privatized account.

• It would require borrowing nearly $5 trillion, much of which from foreign countries like China and Japan.

Join me and sign our Social Security Pledge today. I did and you should too:
