My reply:
A little Googling and I found that this was comment made at the one week anniversary party of “copy-cat protest” and was meant as satire. Shame on _______ for not fact checking

Neither ______ nor I have the time, nor are we paid to, fact check these sorts of things. Nonetheless, I’m positive this is a common feeling among the OWS cabal, that they indeed have no concept of hard work / long hours it takes to get to the mythical 1%.

If someone on the left passed around a phony quote we would be drawn and quartered.

2. Time & pay comment

I like that part. Where the person said he/she didn't have the time (which, as you said, was seconds) and didn't get paid to fact check. But is he/she getting paid to forward idiotic emails when he/she should be, like, WORKING? And he/she is "positive" of the "common feeling" about "hard work/long hours". Oh, please. How many of the 1% got there strictlly with "long hours"? Ask the Kochs. They got theirs the old-fashioned way: inheritance.

Good for you, Randomthought. It's very hard to work with those people, I know.

3. Thanks for your support

I will admit it was very tempting when I replied to the email
to hit "reply all" rather than "reply" but publicly embarrassing this person could have lead to my dismissal- maybe but at least a lot of crap. I can't afford to lose my job-it doesn't pay much but it does provide health insurance for my husband and me. He was laid off in Jan of 2009 from Seagate where he was a senior software engineer for almost 20years.
He has masters degrees in Math & Computer Science but this idiot has an MBA so of course he knows all about working long hours.
My husband has only been able to get "consulting" jobs-temp with no benefits. this guy (obvious if you could see him) hasn't missed any meals.
The scary part is he is picking stocks for my retirement plan.
