It's a family oriented/gay beach. No lie. We vacation there every year! It's like Provincetown, but with straight families included.

Having moved here from Oregon last year, I can tell you that the Minnesota DU contingent is much more cohesive and friendly than the Oregon contingent. Nothing against the Oregon bunch--but they've had only one gathering that I know of, while we've had many.
