Just got a disturbing call from the DFL

Said it was a poll and asked me if I was voting and who I was voting for in the election and I said Mark Dayton. He asked what I thought about voting for one of the others in the main election, Margaret and Matt and I said Matt was a backstabber and I would rather not vote for him at all and then he ask me about Margaret and I said she was too nice and I didn't feel she fought hard enough against Pawlenty and he proceeded to trash Dayton, so I hung up.

I hope they don't turn off people completely from Democratic candidates with crap like that.

They are not winning me back and I and I am going to look a the primary ballot more closely to see who fits my definition of Democratic Progressive values.

And it was was such a nice evening.

I had a call from Entenza's people that sounded like this and the caller got real snotty.

I will guarantee you this, if the caller was doing calls at a DFL phone bank, he went off script if he started attacking Dayton. The script may have called for them to push harder for Kelliher, but I've never been at a primary phone bank where the callers were expected to attack other DFL candidates. I'm sure they're not happy about a primary fight, but they've been trying to keep it from getting too divisive and all 3 candidates have done a pretty good job to keep focused on issues.

The DFL has a Central Committee meeting scheduled for August 21 where one of the items of business will no doubt be to endorse the winner of the primary if it's not Kelliher.

"Mrs" Daniels cleaners consistantly violated the no call rule.

I thought it was now illegal to use a false ID on a phone call.

3. Good detective work

they could have been phone banking from that location but usually it's candidate that does that, not the state party. And, more often than not, it seems to be real estate or insurance agency that lend their space for phone banking. Offices with lots of phones.
