4. Yep, many surburban/exurban areas
Part of it is the rolling hills and swampy areas which keep people away from each other helping set the stage, unlike the inner metro.

9. Yes I meant wetlands
though I used Swampy as a general term for low, wet areas.

11. Understandable. When people say "swamp" the impression is reinforced that it is
somehow not of importance or negative. I always use "wetlands" to remind people of their importance.

2. What's wrong with Wright County? It's too far right.
Or would that be "too far Wright"?

"Wright is Wrong Because It's Wright"--a new Chamber of Commerce slogan?

7. Thanks for the Wiki reference
This makes the latest new more unsurprising:

"In 2010 Wright County was ranked number 75 on The Daily Caller's list of America's 100 most conservative-friendly counties."

8. did you mean Corporatocracy County?
Corporatocracy or corpocracy is a form of government where corporations, conglomerates, and/or government entities with private components, control the direction and governance of a country.

U.S. President Dwight D. Eisenhower himself argued against the strengthening corporatocracy in the form of a military-industrial complex that sets national and international financial, economic, political and military policies due to a permanent war economy.

In his 2004 book Confessions of an Economic Hit Man, John Perkins writes; "corporations, banks, and governments (collectively the corporatocracy)".

The concept of a government run by corporations or instances where governments are actually weaker (politically, financially, and militarily) than corporations is a theme often used in both political fiction and science fiction. In these instances the dominant corporate entity is usually dubbed a megacorporation.

12. Wright County Republican
I've noticed that Uncle Drew's blog has been shut down and his Facebook page is gone. Tom's campaign is apparently doing all it can to erase the web presence of the family embarrassment.

14. Drew has been an avid promoter of You Can Run But You Cannot Hide
Tom and Drew Emmer can run, but they cannot hide, from their close ties to Bradlee Dean's cult.
