Amy Klobuchar either thinks we're all idiots or she's delusional
She had this commentary in today's Strib:

http://www.startribune.com/opinion/commentary/48275897.html?elr=KArksUUUoDEy3LGDiO7aiU

Her whole commentary is nothing but sweetness and light and really gives no clue about what she thinks should be done (I'd guess she's not thinking single payer), but the last paragraph is what makes me question her sanity

The Minnesota playbook provides a winning formula for health care reform. We can improve our system to expand what works and fix what is broken, so Minnesotans can continue to enjoy the high-quality, low-cost care we have today and the rest of the nation can enjoy Minnesota quality health care.

My employer is going to go to a HSA plan next year - my employer base insurance will have a $5,000 deductible. Maybe by Klobuchar's standards that is "low cost", I don't think it is for most of us.

I'm also thinking she's not paying attention to what Pawlenty has done to medical programs in the state.

1. Whew! thought I was the only one that wanted to puke

She is such a tool of CorporateCrats. She is so clueless. The MN's in the rural areas are suffering so much more than those in the cities. AT least those in the city who don't have health care can get some basic needs meet at the various over worked free clinics.

GOD! how I wish Becky Lourey was Governor and we has MN single payer healthcare.

with so many more people suffering and going to suffer, maybe they will learn to speak out and fight to get real progressives in office.. until then I guess they will just have to pray they don't get real sick.

3. The fact that Minnesota's health care system might be marginally better
than some other states' doesn't mean it doesn't suck, because it does. Get a clue, Amy.

13. There was a lot of muttering at my senate district meeting by
people trying to get an answer from her office about just what her position on single payer or even a public option is. Also some griping about her flirting with the Blue Dogs - and this is not the most liberal of districts.

If she keeps this up it might be possible that she'll face a strong challenge for endorsement in 2012. We can only hope.
