It's like crickets. The media is damn quiet.

1. No news yet, the MN Supreme Court has not ruled yet
there will probably not be too much notice before it is released, not before the day of the release.

2. There's a rumor that it's already been decided
That it's an unanimous decision. And it may favor Franken. They're not saying yet because they have to write up the decision and I'm sure it's many many pages!

Just got it from my source in MN (I used to work for local and state politicians before I moved to the UK).

3. Rumor had it they were going to issue last Wed. or Thurs...
Now the rumor is it's this week.

Arguments have beenmade and presented to the justices. Now we're just waiting for them to rule.

4. One thing I have heard is that there is something hanging them up. It is either the
Pawlenty signing part of something else. They could well decide to kick it to the Higher Court. I hate to say. I don't think there is a question of the vote outcome though as it appears to have been thoroughly vetted.

5. The Minnesota Supreme Court can't just "kick it to the higher court."
The U.S. Supreme Court has to agree to hear the case; a lower court can't just turn it over to them. I think once the Minnesota court decides the case that will be the end of it.

9. The court did not explicitly tell Pawlenty to sign it

Coleman's campaign didn't immediately return a call for comment. Nor did Gov. Tim Pawlenty, whose signature is required on the election certificate Franken needs to be seated.

Pawlenty, a Republican, has said he would sign the certificate if ordered to do so by the court. The court's ruling stopped short of explicitly ordering the governor to sign the document, saying only that Franken was "entitled" to it.

So, will Pawlenty continue to stonewall for the sake of all those poor, poor, underprivileged deserving GOP Primary voters? How can they live without a purity of party platform beliefs? Their lives would be crushed.
:sarcasm:
