having heard many stories about the corruption in the Minneapolis PD...
The two recent stories about the police busting prostitution rings makes me wonder if a few people forgot to pay their protection money...

or, they are hoping to use this to cover for the fact that the FBI is investigating them for corruption...

1. Another of Minneapolis' "finest" arrested

A Minneapolis police officer just cleared in the death of a suspect is now accused of fighting with a female friend.

Officer Jason Andersen fatally shot 19-year-old Fong Lee in July 2006 after a brief foot chase.

Early Sunday morning, police arrested Andersen in Sherburne County. According to Andersen's lawyer, Andersen and a female friend were both cited for fifth-degree assault after some kind of traffic incident.

She was cited and released but Anderson was booked into jail.
