What is with the MPR front page?

take a look at the left side of the screen at the vote recount numbers.

I don't think that is correct. it has been very far off from every other website ever since this started.

What are they doing?

1. It's just the current vote totals from the SoS web page
The Sec. of State keeps a running tally instead of a "gain" or "loss" total. The remaining 7.31 percent of the vote that is yet to be counted will bring the difference between Coleman/Franken back to a few dozen at most:

2. Weird
it confused the hell out of me because everyone else is reporting Coleman still has a lead of a couple hundred votes.

3. Is MPR psychically tuning in to the uncounted absentee ballots?

Do they know something the rest of the media doesn't?

This is very odd.

4. Yup
Those are the current recount totals. The counties remaining to be recounted lean Republican (Rock, Scott, and Wright - Winona is the exception) and the margin will certainly tighten up.

With the ballot challenges and the (potentially) improperly rejected absentee ballots still up in the air, the race is far from decided.
