Ruh Roh, McSame inbound on Friday!!!

McCain announces plan to visit Minnesota again

Associated Press
Article Last Updated: 10/04/2008 05:06:07 PM CDT

MINNEAPOLIS—Republican presidential candidate John McCain will campaign in Minnesota again on Friday.

McCain's Minnesota campaign manager says the senator from Arizona will hold a town hall meeting Friday afternoon in the Minneapolis suburb of Lakeville. Details on how to attend will be released Monday.

McCain was last in the state on Sept. 19, when he and running mate Sarah Palin held a rally in Blaine. Palin won't be along for the upcoming visit.

Polls have shown McCain keeping Minnesota competitive against Democratic candidate Barack Obama, although a Republican hasn't taken Minnesota in a presidential election since 1972.

Doubtless it will be a very hand-picked audience. As usual.

Anybody own a plane with on of those signs that you tow behind it? We need one of them to be circling the place with "WE DIDN'T VOTE FOR REAGAN AND WE'RE NOT VOTING FOR YOU!!!" on it!

1. Blaine and Lakeville
Yup, sounds about right. I don't think McCain would dare show his face in Minneapolis. The ratio of Obama signs to McCain signs is about 10 to 1.

2. Lakeville is in Kline's district
I wonder if Colonel Klink will show up or if he'll avoid the association.

4. At Lakeville South High School
Edited on Tue Oct-07-08 06:40 AM by Owl
From twincities.com yesterday:

"the presidential nominee will hold a late-Friday afternoon event at Lakeville South High School."

"people who want tickets will be expected to sign up for some volunteer work."

So, it's just another one of his "town-hall" meetings with his delusional worshipers; an attempt to aid crappy old John Kline.

PS: Vote for Steve Sarvi!
