We will be having our 7th annual Bean Feed on September 21st at Veterans Memorial Park (64th and Portland) in Richfield. It runs from Noon ‘till 3:00.

Beans, Brats, Chips, Soda, Brownies. All you can eat only $10, or $5 under 12.
No end to the food and friends, and a good helping of political speeches.

Senate District 40 A Day in the Park 2008

Join your friends and neighbors for an afternoon of fun, activities, good conversation, and political dialogue.
Invited guests include SD40 Representatives Will Morgan and Ann Lenczewski, and Senator John Doll.

Tickets include sloppy joes, hot dogs, veggie burgers, chips, cookies, and soft drinks, as well as games for the children!

$10 per adult, $5 per child, up to $25 per family.

I always try to hit both of these. SD 63 (includes parts of Minneapolis, Richfield and Bloomington) because it's the only event I see some of the Bloomington DFL types that I've known since I was first involved. And SD 40 (Bloomington/Burnsville) because it's my senate district.
