2 Republican delegates thanks us in Gitmo suits
I was one of those in a Guantanamo jumpsuit at Ecolab plaza in St. Paul Wednesday from 11-3.
We had tons of press taking pictures and interview us. I refused to talk to any Corporate Media.. saying "you had 8 years to tell our stories".. (remember, I was in a jumbsuit and black hood)> I think I shocked the guy from CBS news. that was funny. (sadly it is true).

Anyhow. when I moved to back to get a drink of water adn took off my hold a woman came up and said
"thank you for what you are doing" "I wanted to let you know, that I give you hope" and I asked her what are you talking about.. "she showed me her badge that she was a delegate from idaho" She said she is so angry with her party and that there where other Republicans like her.

She also said that the Delegates are being isolated and not hearing of the riot cops.. and tear gassing. I ghave her several progressive websites. indymedia.org and The Uptake to findout what is happening locally.

The I noticed two others delegates thanking detainess and shaking their hands.

1. I wonder how many Republicans visited the Gitmo Cell
Amnesty International has a replica Gitmo cell set up outside the RNC at 7th and Walnut. I didn't see any there during my visit. I just saw a lot of limos parked on Walnut.

Imagine calling this home for 8 years with no end in sight. This living quarter, along with torture, has driven some captives to attempt suicide. I don't know if any were successful.
