If the mayors of Minneapolis or St. Paul seek re-election...
...or another office, they won't get one cent from me after the way police are terrorizing citizens this week.

1. Ramsey County Sheriff Bob Fletcher is terrorizing people, not Rybak or Coleman
Sadly the mayors have no ability to stop this ridiculous stuff. Remember Bob Fletcher beat Bill Finney last election. It would be a much different environment if Fletcher wasn't in office to play gestapo.

2. Rybak
I agree.

Rybak has been a great Mayor, and it is hard for me to reconcile these two sides.

My greatest concern is actually that these protests will prove to the RW media the lefties are terrorists that hate America. If that plays in the media, it could swing points away from Obama easily. I hope it stays clean this week.

4. I wouldn't let either of them off the hook.
Minneapolis Police went into St Paul to impound a peaceful family's bus and left them homeless on the freeway. When questioned about it by a lawyer as to why they would cross city lines, it was stated "WE are all working together on this" which included Homeland Security et al.

So if Rybak and Coleman aren't speaking up, they are complicit. Coleman especially.

6. Don't forget the city council
One city council person in St Paul condemned the raids. Not one word from the Minneapolis city council and there were raids within the Minneapolis city limits

7. Rybak and Coleman could speak out !!!!!!!!!
Both Mayors were put in office by Peace activists.. Where are they when we are assaulted exercising free speech. We should not be intimidated by our own police officers. I was at Sundays, Mondays, Tuesday's marches... I had to help a 15 year old girl pepper sprayed.

I know many peace and social justice groups are organizing events to hold our politicians account able. this will not be tolerated for our representatives not to speak out.
