Here are two great events that every DUer who is in the Twin Cities for the RNC should plan on attending after the labor day march.

The SEIU will be hosting the "Take Back Labor Day" event on Harriet Island from noon to 7:00 on September 1st. There will be performances by Tom Morello, Steve Earle, Atmosphere, Mos Def, Billy Bragg, and others. Cost is $10.

On September 2nd from 12:30 to 7:00 the Ripple Effect will be held on the State Capitol lawn. It will feature performances by Anti-Flag, Michael Franti, Dead Prez, and others, as well as speeches by Code Pink founder Medea Benjamin and polar explorer and global warming activist Will Steger. This is a free event.
